Ronald Keith Bond ~ 1934 - 2013

RONALD KEITH BOND
1951 MWHS Senior
Student Council President
Ronald Bond passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2013. He was one of the 50 Year Club's most beloved and commited members and it saddens me to learn that I will no longer be able to see his smiling face or hear his encouraging comments at our functions.

Born Ronald Keith Bond on July 20, 1934 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Lola Claire Blackwell and Donald Zane Bond, he graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1951 and the University of North Texas in 1955.
Ronald was also an active and commited athlete and student at MWHS during 1948-1951. In his Senior year the Burro gave this account: President Student Body '50-'51 ~ Football '48-'51 ~ Treasurer Hi-Y '50-'51 ~ Track '48-'51

After graduating from the University of North Texas he worked for Montgomery Ward for 35 years before retiring. He also served in the United States Navy Reserve and retired as a commander.

In addition to his wife of 56 years, Kay, he is survived by his sons, Ronald Keith Bond Jr. and Curtis St. Clair Bond; brother, Charles Bond and wife, Janie; sister, Janice Bean; grandchildren, Kelsey and Austin; sister-in-law, Suzanne Welborne; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was loved and will be missed by many.
